5.1 Newsletter content

Newsletters are generally distributed by email, very rarely by post. The newsletters contain information about our products, our promotions and company events as well as special tailor-made offers from our product catalogue.

5.2 Subscribing to our newsletter

Subscribing to our newsletter can either be done in writing in one of our stores, or online by REGISTERING ON OUR WEBSITE. The online registration for the newsletter is carried out by the so-called double-opt-in method. Therefore you will receive an email after registration that requests the confirmation of your registration. This confirmation is necessary in order to prevent misuse of your email address by a third party. For the newsletter subscription you only need to supply your email address. The newsletter registration is recorded in order to comply with the legal requirements.

MailChimp, however, does not use the newsletter recipients’ data in order to make contact themselves or pass them onto a third party.

5.4. Statistics and Analysis

In the framework of the statistics collected by MailChimp, it can be ascertained whether the newsletter was opened, when it was opened and which links the recipient clicked on.
