Mühlbauer gentleman's hat

The Mühlbauer classic “Graf Theo” is a popular summer hat made from parasisol straw. Parasisol is won from agave fibres and comes from South East Asia. It is a much-loved hat straw because it is light-weight, elastic and extremely robust. Mühlbauer used these properties to “squash” the hat. The crushed look is however not just a style detail, it also allows the hat to be folded and packed in a bag. This hat is decorated with a stripy grosgrain ribbon and bow. a bendy wire has been worked into the brim edge allowing you to shape the brim as you wish. This piece is perfect for travel and beach, but also every day summer wear in town. It is worn by men and women.
