The narrow-brimmed gentleman’s hat Prinz Bodo is known as a porkpie, because it is reminiscent of an upside-down pork pie. This piece is made of the paper fibre weave spagat, elastic but robust. Therefore this hat can be folded and packed in a bag without causing any damage. In the region of the pinch, top front centre of the crown, a type of protective cap - also made of spagat - has been attached. This should protect the material from wearing through or breaking. This detail is reminiscent of the protective caps on work boots and refers to the collection’s theme "Sweat" dedicated to the headwear of the manual labourer. Like the blue overalls worn by "blue collar workers" the hat is also blue - dyed by hand with real indigo blue by the Austrian indigo printer Koo. Duke Lee is worn by men and women. Prinz Bodo is generally worn by men, but is also much loved by women.
