The Mühlbauer hat Duke Fisher is a traveller made of finest antelope felt. “Antelope” is the name of the felt because it is so soft and fine, just like antelope skin. In reality it is made of 100% rabbit hair and counts as one of the densest and best felts available as only the shortest and finest hairs are used. In order to make this exceptional felt even finer, Mühlbauer gently sands its surface. A hand bleached stripe drapes itself like a veil across the hat. This stripe and the vague shape of the hat express the collection’s theme “Blob”, which is all about free-flowing shapes and shapelessness. The brim edge has been ripped by machine and not cut, creating in a soft edge. This hat is worn be men and women.
