5.1 Newsletter Content

We send newsletters mostly as emails, in rare cases by post. The newsletters contain information about our products, about promotions and events of the company, general information about the company as well as offers from the product range of the company tailored to you.

5.2 Newsletter Registration

Registration for our newsletter takes place on the one hand in writing in our branches, and on the other hand online via a REGISTRATION LINK ON OUR WEBSITE. The online registration for the newsletter is carried out by means of a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registration you will receive an e-mail in which you are asked to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can register with other email addresses. To register for the newsletter, it is sufficient to enter your email address. The registrations for the newsletter are logged in order to be able to prove the registration process in accordance with the legal requirements.

5.3 Use of the "MailChimp" dispatch service provider

For the dispatch of our electronic ("online") newsletter, we use the order processor "MailChimp", a newsletter dispatch platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU data protection agreement "Privacy Shield" and thus undertakes to comply with the EU data protection requirements. You can view MailChimp's privacy policy HERE.
The email addresses of our newsletter recipients are stored on MailChimp servers in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. Furthermore, MailChimp may use this data to optimise or improve its own services. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass it on to third parties.

The statistical surveys carried out by MailChimp determine whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked by the newsletter recipients.
