The legendary Mühlbauer style Karl is a narrow-brimmed gentleman’s shape commonly known as a trilby. Trilby is the name of the heroine in a novella by British author George du Maurier (approx. 1890), who wore a hat in this style. Karl is made of wool felt, a dense felt quality made of 100% pure new wool. The brim and the crown of this hat have been cut apart and stitched together again in different colours. Karl is worn by men and women.
This hat offers excellent protection against the wind and weather. It is made of a robust felt quality and is therefore perfect for every day wear. Best stored flat.
