The Mühlbauer classic Bodo is a pork pie, a hat with a low crown and a small, bent up brim, reminiscent of a British pork pie turned upside down – hence the shape's name. The hat is free from all decoration, focusing on the shape and material – namely Panama straw (weave: 16-20 knots/cm²) Panama is one of the last hand-woven straws in the world. It is obtained from the leaf fibers of a palm tree and comes from Ecuador.
This hat is perfect for sunny, warm weather. It requires careful handling: do not bend or fold. Avoid exposing the hat to rain or moisture. Store flat.
