The Mühlbauer hat “Sepp” is a traditional hat. Shape, colours and stylistic details typical for traditional hats from the alpine region have been brought to play in this piece. Therefore the hat is decorated with a wide, green silk ribbon – the “Ausseer” ribbon, meaning it comes from the Bad Aussee region of Austria. The ribbon is pleated into several folds at the back. This hat is made of a fine, lightweight and lightproof paper fibre weave – paper Panama – because of its similarity to Panama straw. This hat is lightly crinkled. a bendy wire reinforces the brim edge allowing you to bend it as you wish.
This hat is the perfect travel hat for summer weather. It is easy care. Avoid exposure to rain or damp.
