The Mühlbauer hat Otto Fay is a wide-brimmed traveller. It is made of Panama straw, one of the last hand-woven straw materials available world-wide. The straw is made from the leaf fibres of a palm tree and comes from Ecuador. Two wide silk ribbons printed with a watercolour check pattern are attached to the inside of the hat. This allows you to tie the hat to your head – practical in windy weather. This piece is perfect for party or poolside, but also for every day summer wear in town.
This hat is perfect for sunny, warm weather. It requires careful handling: do not bend or fold. Avoid exposure to rain or damp. Store flat.
