The Mühlbauer model Walter is a fisherman’s hat made of Sinamay, a light-weight, transparent straw weave made of the fibres of a banana plant grown in East Asia. A grid-like net has been stitched onto the Sinamay weave, giving it the name “Sinamay-Check”. This hat is perfect for elegant events and parties, but also for every day summer wear in town.
This hat is perfect for sunny, warm weather. It requires careful handling: do not bend or fold. Avoid exposure to rain or damp. Store flat.
