Find your hat size
To determine your hat size, measure the circumference of your head. You will need a measuring tape and a mirror. Place the measuring tape around the back of your head, bring it forward just above the ears, and join it below the hairline in the middle of your forehead. Don’t pull the tape too tightly. Read the measured head circumference. Our model has a head circumference of 57.5 cm. For all headwear that you would like to pull over your ears, such as beanies, caps, or hats, add an extra 1 cm.
Size Chart
There are different sizing systems for headwear:
In Europe, as in most countries, hat sizes are given as head circumference in centimeters. Accordingly, hat sizes range from 46 cm (one-year-old baby) to 64 cm (very large adult size).
Another common sizing system uses S/M/L (small/medium/large) — the corresponding size in centimeters is shown in the table below.
In the United Kingdom, head diameter is measured and given in inches. Sizes generally range from approximately 6 to 8 inches.
In North America, the British sizing system is also used, but hat sizes are always 1/8 inch larger than a hat of the same size in the United Kingdom.
