The Mühlbauer classic Art Alessio is an elegant, wide-brimmed traveller made of Panama straw (weave: 16-20 knots/cm²). Panama is one of the last hand-woven straw materials in the world. It is made of the leaf fibres of a palm tree and comes from Ecuador. This hat is decorated with a special silk grosgrain ribbon, which comes together in the unique “Mühlbauer bow” on the left, only tied by Mühlbauer in this fashion. This piece is worn by men and women.
This hat is perfect for sunny warm weather. It requires careful handling: do not bend or fold. Avoid exposure to humidity or rain. Store flat.
