The Mühlbauer hat Naja Lia is a cloche (bell shape) made of melusin felt, one of the best felt qualities available made of 100% rabbit hair. Melusin felt’s typical fluffy hairy character is obtained by the brushing out of the longer hairs. A hand-knitted triangular scarf made of an alpaca/linen-wool blend is attached to the inside of the hat. This allows you to tie the hat under your chin, fixing it in place in windy cold weather. The scarf is the central theme of this collection, titled “Cloth”.
