The Mühlbauer model Walu is a fisherman’s hat made of Sinamay, a light-weight, transparent straw weave made of the fibres of a banana plant grown in East Asia. A grid-like net has been stitched onto the Sinamay weave, giving it the name “Sinamay-Check”. This hat is perfect for elegant events and parties, but also for every day summer wear in town.
