The Mühlbauer fascinator "Faroline" is for celebratory summer events. It is made of sinamay, a light-weight, grid-like straw weave. Sinamay is made of the fibres of a banana plant grown in East Asia. The base of this fascinator is a curved circular surface. Several circular sinamay layers, folded in half like a "palatschinken" (the Viennese version of a pancake), are attached to this surface. This piece refers to the collection theme "Vienna", with the aim of capturing stylistic elements typical to Vienna. The fascinator "Faroline" is attached to the hair with a comb.
