The much-loved Mühlbauer gentleman’s shape "Udo" is the "Tracht" series, meaning the traditional Austrian headwear collection. This hat combines shape, colours and stylistic details typical to traditional hats from the alpine region. Thus the hat is decorated with a wide, green silk ribbon - the "Ausseer" ribbon, meaning it comes from the Bad Aussee region of Austria, which comes together in several folds at the back. This hat is made of particularly fine rice straw braid. The straw braid is stitched to make a raw hat cone and then steamed to the final hat shape. The hat "Udo" is generally worn by men, but also much appreciated by women.

This hat is perfect for warm sunny weather. It is robust, but should not be folded or bent. Please store flat.
